Bucket Collector Champion at St Josephs Hospice

Description

Come along to one of our upcoming bucket collections where you get to meet new people, have fun and raise money for the hospice. We have shifts available from 7am in the morning to 7pm. Shifts are in two hour slots but if you just have an hour to give, then let us know! Just a few hours of your time could make a huge difference to a patient’s life.

Time requirement: 2 hour shifts – 7am – 7pm - various dates.

This opportunity will assist you in gaining the following skills:

  • Teamwork

Training & Benefits:
We will provide you with a St Joseph's T-shirt, buckets, stickers and a welcome pack which includes a welcome letter and top tips for a bucket collection. All you need to do is turn up! By volunteering your time at one of our bucket collections you will be making a huge difference to someone living with a life limited illness.
The great thing about bucket collecting is that it's a quick and easy way to raise money for St Joseph's Hospice. It's a great way to meet new people, gain team building skills and have fun. We provide you with a thank you email telling you the total that was raised on the day as well as a reference. We will also be offering a reward scheme for our frequent bucket collectors with lots of great goodies up for grabs.

About you

The organisation has indicated the following requirements from volunteers who want to take this opportunity.

Essential: Fun, outgoing volunteers who are not shy to speak to the general public and raise awareness for the hospice

Desirable: Willingness to spare couple of hours to collect donations from the public
