Description

Change a young person’s life this summer: become a university student mentor with IntoUniversity

The IntoUniversity Mentoring Scheme pairs university student mentors with young people aged 10-17 from some of London’s most disadvantaged areas, providing them with tailored one-to-one support to boost their aspirations and achieve their full potential.

This summer we are looking for university students or recent graduates to mentor young people at one of our 12 learning centres in London. This is a great opportunity for you to develop new skills, gain experience for your CV, and support a young person who needs it the most.

You will:
- Receive initial training and opportunities to develop new skills.
- Work one-to-one with an IntoUniversity student for one hour, for a minimum of five meetings between June-September.
- Plan your mentoring sessions in advance, with the full support of IntoUniversity staff, that focus on academic attainment, social skills and future planning.
- Make a real difference to a young person’s life.
